If you are thinking about adding a feline friend to your family, now is the purr-fect time!  We are in the middle of kitten season, and shelters like ours have reached capacity due to the high number of kittens born in the summer months.  Adopting a shelter cat frees up space in foster homes and shelter cages, which allows our rescue to bring in more homeless cats and kittens.  

The available kitties page of our website lists the current cats and kittens looking for fur-ever homes, updated frequently, so be sure to check back often!  Adoption events are held every Saturday from 1 -5 pm in the PetSmart Adoption Center located at 625 W Crossville Rd, Roswell, GA 30075. Additional adoption times can be made by appointment only with an approved application.

Choose to adopt your next feline companion, and you will help us save more precious lives!  Whether you’re looking for playful kittens or mellow seniors, we know a new best fur-iend is waiting just for you at All About Cats! 

Get involved in June. Here are six ways to help.

🐾Adopt a cat or kitten from our rescue. Give them and others a chance at a great life.
🏠Foster if you are not able to adopt. We cover medical expenses and supplies for our cats until adoption. 
💲Donate to the anniversary fundraiser (see below) to help us with expenses not covered by our adoption fees.
👫Volunteer your time and skills. We need cat room cleaners, fosters, fundraisers, and transporters.
⏩Spread the word and tell people about the benefits of adopting shelter cats.

Happy Anniversary, All About Cats! 🎉

On June 11, 2011, Kristy Grieco founded All About Cats with a focus on rescuing cats and kittens from high-kill shelters in North Georgia, providing them with medical care, and finding them permanent loving homes. Armed with a mission and the support of dedicated volunteers, countless lives have been transformed by one simple but powerful decision – to create a rescue devoted entirely to cats. You only need to look at the smiling faces of our adopters and the contented kitties in their arms to know that we are achieving our goal.

As we celebrate 15 years of saving lives, we reflect on the journey that brought us here. The traditional symbol of a 15th anniversary is crystal – a fitting reminder that something truly beautiful can emerge through time, care, and dedication. For fifteen years, our rescue has been a light for cats in need, helping them move from uncertainty to safety, from neglect to love, and from homeless to home. In honor of this milestone, and our founder’s June birthday, we are asking supporters to consider a minimum donation of $15. We want to express our deepest gratitude to our volunteers, the backbone of our rescue. All About Cats simply could not exist without this team of kind, compassionate, and hardworking people. We also thank the families who opened their hearts and homes to our cats, giving them the loving furever homes they deserve. And to the many donors and supporters who have stood beside us throughout the years – thank you. Cat rescue truly takes a village, and we could not continue this life-saving work without the support of our community.
