October is Black Cat Awareness! 🖤

🐈‍⬛Black Cat Awareness Month, and nothing goes better with crisp leaves and pumpkin spice than a sleek little panther curled up on your lap. Meet Rocco! Black cats are lucky, and they are so worthy of your attention and your heart. We celebrate their beauty and value while encouraging their adoption because everyone deserves the chance to be owned by a precious mini panther.

Black cats haven’t always had a spooky reputation. Ancient Egyptians honored them as sacred, the Scots welcomed a black cat on the doorstep as a sign of good fortune, and in Japan they’re still seen as symbols of prosperity. Yet each fall, black cats get passed over because of silly superstitions.

As the age-old saying goes, if a black cat crosses your path, stop and give it a pet! Consider yourself lucky to be in the presence of a magnificent mini panther!

⚫️Visit the black cat page on our website to learn about their virtues and why they are so worthy of your heart! ⚫️

Meet our adoptable kitties each Saturday from 1–5 PM at PetSmart, 625 W Crossville Road, Roswell, GA  30075. Additional times are available by appointment with an approved application. Apply online to adopt or volunteer.
