Educational Parties

Do a good turn daily.  This slogan is a great reminder of the many ways that young children can contribute positively to the lives of homeless cats and kittens.  We host educational parties for scouts looking to earn their Pet Badge.  They will learn about basic cat care, the different types of cats, and even learn how to use a microchip reader.  After the educational cat lecture, the kids will receive some hands-on kitty experience courtesy of our shelter kitties at the Roswell PetSmart.  It is a great way to teach kids about the world of cats and earn another badge in the process!
