August is Black Cat Appreciation Month! 🐾  

August is a great time to adopt a black cat. We believe black cats are lucky and encourage everyone to cast aside silly superstitions about them. Please check out the black cat page on our website to learn more about the virtues of black cats and why they are so worthy of your attention and your heart!

Meet our adoptable kitties each Saturday from 1–5 PM at PetSmart, 625 W Crossville Road, Roswell, GA  30075. Additional times can be made by appointment only with an approved application. Apply online to adopt or volunteer.  In August, All About Cats will offer special discounts on certain adoptions. Inquire with the adoption coordinator for specific details.

Get involved in August. Here are eight ways to help.

🐾Adopt a cat or kitten from our rescue. Discover why black cats rule!
🏠Foster if you are not able to adopt. We cover medical expenses and supplies for our cats until adoption. 
💲Donate to our Clear the Shelter Fund (see below).
👫Volunteer your time and skills. We need cat room cleaners, fosters, fundraisers, and transporters.
❤️ Aug 28 is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. Honor that special pet with a donation.
🎁Create a Facebook or Instagram fundraiser.  Ask for donations to our rescue for your birthday gifts. 
👍Keep in touch.  Follow our social media pages, and sign up for our newsletter.
⏩Spread the word and tell people about the benefits of adopting black cats.

This nationwide pet adoption and fundraising campaign brings communities together to help homeless pets find loving families while supporting local rescues like ours. Every adoption, every donation, and every act of kindness creates hope. It means one more family made whole and one more cat given the chance to discover what love truly feels like. Together, we can give more cats the happy endings they deserve.
