Bernerd is a handsome, social tabby who walked right up in a parking lot and jumped into a car, originally thought to be someone’s cat — expected to be reclaimed, but no one ever came for him. He made it very clear he didn’t belong outside, rubbing against people even while still outside and choosing connection every chance he got. Now that he’s safe and settled, his personality has fully come out — greeting you with little chirps and doing his signature dramatic plop right at your feet. He’s not a lap cat, but he doesn’t need to be — his version of love is staying close, hanging out within a few feet of you, and keeping you company. He has great manners, an easygoing nature, and a quiet, loyal presence that makes him the perfect companion.
