Cliona didn’t have the easiest start in life. She was rescued from a rough situation in a trailer park cat colony, and to top it off, she was heavily pregnant. Despite her hard past, Cliona stepped up to the plate and became the ultimate supermom to six beautiful kittens. She was incredibly protective, patient, and docile with her babies, giving them everything she had. Now that her maternal duties are winding down, this gorgeous girl is ready to find a forever home where she can be pampered.

When she’s in her element, Cliona is the calmest, sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. She lives for affection and will happily shower you with enthusiastic body rubs and deep, meaningful headbutts.

Like any self-respecting tortie, Cliona has a big personality. Because of her past, she can be easily startled by sudden movements or loud noises, which might earn you a quick, defensive hiss. But here is her superpower: she resets almost instantly. As soon as she realizes she’s safe, the hiss vanishes, and she goes right back to being a sweet, purring companion.

Cliona would thrive in a relatively calm household with an adopter who understands that a little initial sass is just part of her charm. She needs someone who will give her a second to adjust to new sights and sounds.
